At last month’s Marine and Fisheries Business and Investment Forum in Jakarta, USAID SEA pointed up the incentives that Indonesian fishers and fishery businesses can receive for participating in the Fair Trade system. MDPI is USAID SEA’s main implementing partner for its Fair Trade program, which is focused on creating incentives
USAID SEA carried out last month a training specifically tailored to participants of its local advocacy initiative called “Pejuang Laut,” or Sea Champions, Program. The training combined BCC techniques and used a simple, easy-to-understand language that resulted in highly interactive sessions.
About 40 marine and fisheries experts and practitioners gathered in Jakarta on 6-7 August for an “Expert Verification Workshop” to review MPA Network Design in FMA 715.
